Assalamu alaykum,
Miftahul Khair is an Islamic institution situated in Mackenzie Park, Benoni, South Africa. It was started under the auspices of the venerable Mufti Masood Ebrahim Saheb (May Allah Ta’ala preserve him) in the year 1427/2007. To date, it has close to seventy students in various fields. Amongst other courses it offers the following,
1) Primary Islamic studies for boys and girls,
2) Method of Islamic Dawah (propagation),
3) Memorizing of the noble Quran (males and females),
4) Alim course,
Accommodation and meals are provided for all male students. Every Sundays, students go out to give da’wah to the indigenous people of South Africa. Numerous people have already accepted Islam. In order to educate these people another institute is being established in Wattville, an indigenous area in South Africa.
We pray that Allah Ta’ala accept the efforts of the efforts of Miftahul Khair and may Allah Ta’ala take it from strength to strength. Ameen.
